AMEC Online The 20/20 Vision: Dynamic leaders for a health revolution
The Annual Medical Education Conference (AMEC) has become a national cornerstone activity in which both students and professionals gather with high anticipation. More than 2,200 medical students, premedical students, and physicians gathered in Philadelphia for AMEC 2019 and we anticipate 2,200+ at AMEC 2020. AMEC 2020, as a virtual conference in partnership with the American Medical Student Association (AMSA), April 16-19 will consist of interactive workshops and sessions that will not only prepare premed and medical students in their journey to become socially competent and clinically excellent physicians but also provide the opportunity to network with students and physicians from all over the country. In addition, we will celebrate SNMA’s 56th year of diversifying the face of medicine.
AMSACon — multiplying impact.
On April 16-18, we convened medical students, physicians, and experts from across the globe—virtually—for our 70th annual convention. Our aim is to support, inspire, and activate future physicians eager for change—and community. We’ve transformed three days of 30+ sessions, speakers, competitions, fairs, and more to be fully accessible to attendees from the safety of their homes.

The Student National Medical Association is excited to celebrate its 55th anniversary at our Annual Medical Education Conference in Philadelphia, Pennsylvania. Our conference theme this year is The Call for Excellence: Improving the Future of Medicine through Leadership, Service, and Activism. As we celebrate 55 years of Diversifying the Face of Medicine, this conference will consist of interactive workshops and sessions that will not only prepare premed and medical students in their journey to become socially competent and clinically excellent physicians, but will also provide the opportunity to network with students and physicians from all over the country. We will have dynamic speakers and panels that will provide insight and will inspire you to Lead, Serve, and become Active in the communities that need excellent health care providers and advocates.
